About the Talk

CDSA has implemented a comprehensive datalake designed to streamline data management across multiple disciplines. This platform serves as a one-stop shop for all data needs, facilitating dataset uploads and efficient data handling. With robust features including advanced visualizations (with 2D, 3D, and maps), intuitive search functionalities, and versioning and provenance tracking, the datalake ensures that data is not only accessible but also meaningful.

This session provided an in-depth overview of the capabilities of the datalake and included a live demonstration. Attendees learned about the functionality in supporting data management processes such as uploads, visualizations, and versioning, and explored upcoming features like API integration and enhanced data merging capabilities.

This session was intended to equip researchers with tools that facilitate their data handling and research activities.
